The Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology Program, CDC, in partnership with the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs (AMCHP) and the Council for State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE), announces a special call for abstracts for presentation at the 2014 CSTE Annual Conference to be held June 22-26, 2014 in Nashville, TN. The focus of this special call is the power of a data warehouse and applications for maternal and child health.
This series is designed to support researchers in utilizing existing data to examine how health develops over the life course, and to assist local and state MCH practitioners in utilizing existing data to examine the health status and needs of - and/or monitor progress in improving outcomes among - their target populations.
The Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are offering a Training Course in MCH Epidemiology as part of their ongoing effort to enhance the analytic capacity of state and local health agencies.
